In the last few years three books, all based on research, have been published advocating that all kids should be exposed to Sign. (We sell one of the books in our Books section.) In addition to that, articles have started to appear in the print media about the subject, and there has been some TV and radio publicity too.

As a result, interest in Sign has grown, and organizations are starting to pop up around the U.S. and Canada offering workshops (and/or support groups) for parents/guardians interested in exposing their kids to Sign. A few of the workshops are free, but most can be had for a fee.

To keep the list current we would appreciate being notified about workshop providers in the U.S. and Canada currently not listed. You may submitt a workshop for review at the bottom of this list using the "Add A Workshop" form, or, you may contact steve@signit2.com.

If you should have a bad experience at a workshop, please let us know. If we get enough complaints about a workshop provider we will delete them from the list.
